What if I just want to use my C&R/COE just for an AB962 and 30 day handgun purchase buffer exemption, plus for the C&R dealer discounts you get at some places?

Can you just not buy any C&R guns and have a blank bound book?

Does that raise any red flags when you get an inspection?

Can you readily admit to a BATF inspector that you really didn't get your C&R to collect antique guns, but rather for the fringe benefits, and expect him/her to have no problem with this?

I mean it's not like a commercial FFL where you have to use it or lose it right?

I would tell the BATF inspector that..... Because I am sure you wouldn't get approved if you put that down on your app

Luke you worry too much. Not spending money isn't illegal, yet.

You know Luke, I think you've got a problem. Why on earth wouldn't you want to by C&R guns man? Just buy a Mosin and see how things go. After your 10th Mauser you'll understand why you really want that C&R to use it for C&R purchases and not just for the awesome fringe benefits.

Shouldn't be a problem. I think lots of people do this.
