I got 500 rounds for free. Anyone shoot these type of bullet in their AR's? Any jams? Opinions?

I got some the other day. It shoots just fine, but "they" say you shouldn't run steel casings through an AR because it might prematurely wear down the ejector. Albeit, it is a cheap part to replace.

This is just what I have found when researching. Maybe someone else smarter than me has a better opinion.

Its all I shoot through my AR's.

Good for the money.

Good and accurate! It's a little dirty like Wolf, but it is way more accurate and consistent.

Smeh, i wouldnt worry about shooting steel case. I shoot wolf MC out of my Ars all the time and havent had any issues besides taking more time to clean.

I never knew Hornady made steel cased "training" rounds. If its on par with their other ammo, I'd jump on it if reloading isn't your thing.

Sooo, whose schlong do I have to suck to get free ammo?

I love the 75gr stuff

The steel case "Training" ammo on top, standard TAP on the bottom and both 75gr.

I would love to train with the 75 grain stuff, but it's WAY more expensive than my normal training round, PMC.

I can't use FMJ's on the steel silhouettes :chris:

The nice thing about these is that eventhough the case is steel, the bullet is not (won't attract a magnet). Wolf's bullet is steel and they won't allow at some ranges.
