View Full Version : What are the Laws with SKS Rifle?

I saw a listing online for someone that is selling a russian SKS rifle. It holds a 10 round magazine semi-automatic Its not the sport SKS edition. The Magazine has to be remove by tools you cant just his a release.

Is this legal? I looked around and I think its legal as long as it holds a 10 round or less mag and its not removable and its not the sport edition.

Let me know what you think? Thanks

Asking price is $200 comes with 100 rounds.

Must be a slow day for CG...anyway, based on what you wrote above, you're good to go. Just be sure that if you're planning on transferring the rifle FTF (cash and carry), that you're a California resident who is not prohibited from possessing firearms. I believe that all Russian SKS's are C&R, so you should be in good shape. BUY IT!

SKS rule #1: Dont "bubba" the SKS!
SKS rule #2: Never contemplate buying a $200 SKS. You should've bought it already!
