I have a converted Saiga 308 and Im looking to install AK handguards to it. I found a romanian laminated lower handguard but neither I or the seller know if its for a stamped or milled reciever. Any help from the crowd?

It is very easy to tell the difference, just for your future reference. The most obvious part is right above the magwell. See this page on Ultimak's website.

OP is talking about handguards, but doesn't know if it's for a stamped or milled receiver. The answer to the question would be did the Romanians ever manufacture a milled receiver AK.

I have yet to see a milled Romanian AK, but it doesn't say they don't exist. Chances are if the handguards are Romanian, they'll be for a stamped receiver.
