Jeez i hate the feeling that i now have 50 satallites pionted at me just cause i typed this  oh and I'd love to sit in on the antioch build party, can someone show me the secret hand shake?

Contact member SJgunguy24. I think he's up to something. :)
And welcome to the forum. If you can mill your own front trunnion, then yes that will count as a US made part towards 922r.

I feel stainless in a sheet metal receiver would be too soft.

Now a milled stainless receiver would be cool.

Ok, what about bent SS reciver and how do you prove US made when you made it? And yes home made trunnions not ss yet...

You mark it with your name or initials and where it was made.

Because nobody makes a stainless sheet steel receiver. Yes, it will be just as strong, but no heat treating required.

This sounds like one of those "great ideas on paper."

We'll see if I can make it happen, there's a few issues that i'll need to work out but it's gonna get done.

Here's a picture of the prototype flat next to an AK builder that I used for hole placement.

What part of CA are you located in? I want to build one too, but am looking at different options. I might be interested in picking up one from you.
