What are some legal AR-15 type weapons that I could buy in California.
I would like it to already have a bullet button or be able to put one on it.
It must also be able to hold over 10 round mags encase I bring it out of state.
It does not have to say AR-15 on it but look the same.

Maybe something that looks like one of these...

Google says website does not exist

riflegear.com has only one that looks like what I'm looking for an AR-15 how ever it does not have the nice rail on top for sights or carrying??

Marin Firearms in Novato has ARs. Stop by their shop and take a look at their inventory.

Basically any off list AR pattern rifle can be obtained if you so choose.

If you want a fixed carry handle for any reason other than nostalgia or a retro build, you're wrong.

The picture you posted from Riflegear is a rifle with backup iron sights. You can mount a carry handle on the flat top upper if that is what you desire.

This is the rifle I would recommend for you: (http://riflegear.com/p-585-daniel-defense-xv-rifle-556mm.aspx)

Go to Bullseye in San Rafael. They might have some rifles for you to check out and they're good people.

Additionally if you mount a optic in this configuration:

you are not going to get a proper cheek weld when using the optic because of how high it sits

here's a link to riflegear: http://www.riflegear.com/

flat top rifle give you more option on sighting systems and you can attach a carry handle on top of it if you choose not to run any sighting system.

I suggest do some more reserching if you are new to AR platform.

If you have the time, check out City Arms in Pacifica, they have a ton of CA compliant AR's. Heck, they even had a Thompson there last week.

Top of each and every CalGuns forum page is a fine list of FFL's and others that will happily help you with this problem :)

We have a few more than just one model. Here are some pics of our showroom, which has a sample of several models on the wall, uppers and lowers. ALL of these are CA-legal. We have everything you need to pretty much put together any style you like. As do many of the other site sponsors as well. Where are you located? It may help to direct you to a vendor.

Anything you see can be built, short a few makes/models of lower receiver (which can be replaced by other brands).

Read through the thread in my signature.

Is it just me, or have there been a lot of threads like this lately, where a user seems very demanding and not friendly but wants all of the info laid out for them? Just strikes me as odd.

Probably not, just may need to get off his/her arse and read a little. An outing or 2 to some local ffl's might also be helpful...

Member for around a year:rolleyes::confused:

I'm 20, I've only used hand guns, I dont know much about rifles but I want to learn. I'm sorry you think I'm demanding but I like to be direct so that I do not take up your time. Thank you everyone, I will check out Bullseye and Novato.
