SOLD

Hello Everyone,

WTS a Smith & Wesson Model 22-4 "Thunder Ranch" Revolver:
*Caliber .45 ACP
*4 inch barrel
*N Frame

Package includes:
*Pistol Bag with Thunder Ranch Logo
*30 Full Moon Clips
*Brownell shell remover tool
*2 Hammer lock keys
*Herritt Target Stocks
*Owner's Manual

I purchased new during August 2006 from Turner Outdoorsman in Signal Hill. The pistol is in excellent condition, no finish wear except ring on the cylinder. It's never been holstered. Approximately 400 rounds fired-all factory full metal jacket. I had an action job performed by Bolsa Gunsmithing after firing 100 rounds- double action is a very smooth 8 pounds, single action is a crisp 3 pounds. It's absolutely reliable (goes bang every time you pull the trigger) and accurate.

I'M WILLING TO SHIP AS A LAST RESORT, TO AN FFL (SHIPPING EXTRA, BASED ON ACTUAL FED EXPRESS OVERNIGHT RATES AND INSURANCE). HOWEVER, PREFER FACE TO FACE TRANSACTION. WILLING TO MEET AT AN FFL WITHIN 25 MILES OF LONG BEACH IF NECESSARY, BUT PREFER AN FFL IN NORTH ORANGE COUNTY OR SOUTH LA COUNTY. ESPECIALLY PREFER FTF AT AN FFL IN IMMEDIATE LONG BEACH VICINITY (E.G. TURNER OUTDOORSMAN IN SIGNAL HILL, INSIGHT SHOOTING RANGE IN ARTESIA, OR AMMO BROTHERS IN CERRITOS).

SERIOUS PROSPECTIVE BUYERS PLEASE PM ME (I TRY TO CHECK THIS FORUM AT LEAST ONCE A DAY), or call me at (562) 760-8695 anytime between 8AM and 8PM PST.

COMMENT-REASON ABOVE PHONE NUMBER SHOWS UP AS ICON IS MY WIFE JUST SIGNED US UP FOR SOMETHING CALLED SKYPE. I DON'T KNOW HOW IT WORKS AND CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DISABLE. IF YOU CLICK ON ICON, PLEASE CANCEL OUT OF THE APPLICATION & CALL ME THE OLD FASHIONED WAY (FROM YOUR TELEPHONE). ALSO, SORRY ABOUT THE QUALITY OF BELOW PHOTOS. I TRIED JUST NOW TO IMPROVE CLARITY THROUGH PHOTO BUCKET, WITHOUT SUCCESS. THE PHOTOS DON'T DO THIS GUN JUSTICE

That only shows up on your end since you have it installed. Its a really good program for making cheap long distance/international calls. Made calling home when I was overseas cheap. If you're using firefox you should be able to just disable the skype addon.

Thanks for the information-I'm getting to be an old curmudgeon, resistant to change. But like most of the new technical things that my wife signs us up for I'm sure I'll like it once I get used to it

It's going to be a long range target rifle, probably in 6MM BR. I've started doing some research, and talking to Knowledgable friends, but haven't settled yet on who to have build it for me. However, I'm told to expect the rifle alone to cost between $3500-$4000. The proceeds from my Wilson should (with what I've already saved) give me the funds to proceed.

A closer pic of the left side of the pistol would be nice. All but one of your shots are of the other side. I would like to know how bad the idiot marks are before I think of spending $2000+.

Happy to take a couple more closer pictures of left side. I'll do it tomorrow AM & post.

Nice S&W. Otherthan the grips, were there any other markings on the frame or a special serial # to indicate the Thunder Ranch designation?
