The 10 day torture period is up and I got to bring home my bolt action beauty..........

My new Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308 topped with a Nikon Buckmaster 6X18X40mm SF (Leupold QRW base and rings). Looking to get it to the range this Sunday weather permitting and get a full range report.

I feel your pain, but all good things come to those that wait....after the mandated state BS. Thanks for the comments and really itching to get the weapon to the range.

Looks good the 700 is my next rifle!

Hope yours shoots better then the one I had. The barrel on mine was made by cavemen with rocks. It would shoot 1 inch and then start walking high-right as the barrel got warmer and warmer. And yes I made sure the stock was not touching the barrel. The inside of the barrel looked like a cement highway on a borescope.

Looks awesome! Definitely in the running for my next bolt gun.

Very nice. I love mine, I ended up putting an HS Precision stock on mine with the SWFA USS 10x scope. Very nice to shoot

Well in the ever evolving state of my SPS Tactical .308 I have added a few changes in making a better shooter. I swapped out the Hogue stock for a better HS Precision and sent out the bolt to Keith Johns @ AZ Precision to have a custom bolt knob installed and the knob and bolt Cerakoted. This weapon is shaping up to be quite an accurate shooter!

I think the next modification being concidered will be a Timney 510 trigger although the stock X-Mark PRO trigger is working great. I feel the Timney offers more advantages with it's lower adjustable pull down to 1.5 pounds. Anyway I'm sure enjoying the superb accuracy and having fun with the first bolt gun! :D
