Anyone else having this issue?

I got my Aero Precision lower from TDS (thanks btw guys) and with the LPK from their group buy (thanks again!) My lower does not like my pmags

I am using a raddlock if that makes a difference. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Thanks fellas

Tight fit, guess I should have specified the issue.

When I release the mag they "pop" but dont drop freely. The c products I have fall no problem.

Just curious if maybe I got one with a little extra on the inside or what

Pmags have too much material, your aluminum ones fall free right? That means your lower is in spec

Try Sanding them a bit with fine grit, or try E-mags.

So does that mean I cant use the pmags with my lower?

Do the E mags have less material up near the magwell area?

I had a similar problem with my LMT when I first got it with the Pmags not droping freely, a little lube in the magwell and some reload drill fix it for me.

lightly sand it to get it to drop free, or leave them and manually pull it out. It will work either way

EMAGs might solve your problem.

How big of a difference is there between the pmags and emags? As far as fitment

Probably measurable in thousandths of an inch. I haven't had any reports of EMAGs not fitting when PMAGs are too tight.

huh....

Sounds interesting. Well I guess I might have to check them out

I see you have them but only in black. Any deals on FDE ones anytime soon? Looking for a 30 Rounder

I don't think Magpul is planning on releasing them in colors similar to the LR20s.

Some of my PMAG 20's fit tight in my Noveske magwell. The 30 bodies fit loosely like the metal mags.

I noticed that most of my mags that fit tight are hitting the trigger guard. I've had two different guards and they've been shaved down for clearance toward the part that protrudes into the magwell.

I had the same issue with my (metal) Magpul enhanced guard too. Trim it a bit and its fine now. No problem with the (plastic) MIAD enhanced guard.

What trigger guard do you have WM442?

emags have less material all round and kind feel cheap.

If worse comes to worse I will just sell my Pmags and buy some c products or okay or something. Then replace the followers. We shall see
