The OP is selling one with a rail, so it is technically a P220R. An all stainless steel P220R is not on the roster. I may be wrong, and hopefully someone more knowledgeable would provide additional information. But I do see a Calguns seller (yzernie) selling an all stainless steel P220R. Confusing??!!!

When I bought my P220"R", I also wondered why it was not specifically mentioned on the roster.

Sig confirmed with me that it is legal to own in California.

You are correct the 220R is on the list however the 220ST is not.

Interesting - To the best of my knowledge Sig never made an all stainless P220 without the rail. The 220R (Stainless/Stainless) on the list would be a 220ST. Puzzling.

I agree. But to expand this issue further and include the P226R for a moment, I don't think Sig made an all stainless steel P226 without a rail also. The CA DOJ roster list correctly listed an all stainless steel P226R (not the P226 without the rail). Really confusing.

To the OP - Apologies for hijacking your WTS ad. Should be discussed in another thread. Please accept our bumps to your ad!

This Sig P220ST is not off list. It is covered under "P220 (Stainless) / Stainless Steel Pistol 4.4" .45 ACP." It is out of production, but it could/can be bought new in California. It will go off the list in October 2010 if Sig does not renew.

If anyone is still uncertain, call Sig and ask.

Bump for a beautiful Sig!

The SIG P220 also comes in P220R and P220ST versions. The base and R models have an aluminium alloy frame with a stainless steel slide (if made by SIG Sauer in the US; German made versions still use a blued, stamped steel slide); the ST model has a stainless steel frame and slide. The difference is that my ST is all stainless and is a different gun than the R model with the alloy frame.

Nice gun, is this one of the real German made ones?

This gun is 100% on the list, should open you up to many more buyers if you're willing to ship OP, good luck, free bump. I love my P220ST, so accurate and no recoil.

Yes German made...stainless frame/stainless slide

Your gun's frame was made in Germany, the slide and assembly were done in the US.

Also now that I look closer, unless I'm very mistaken, it appears your gun has night sites and the short trigger, might want to mention those things.
