Is anybody heading out to Angeles any time soon? I'm in the market for a new handgun and the local Firing Line in Burbank only has a P229 to rent. I'd like to be able to try all three before I make my final decision. I have plenty of 9MM and would be happy to buy you some lunch out there if you wouldn't mind letting me send a few mags down range.

Let me know if you are interested and if you're heading out to the range any of the next few weekends. Thanks guys.

I'm up there every Wednesday night and I usually bring up my sigs, 226/229 in 40 and 9. If you're looking to head up there on a Sat/Sun shoot me a PM and I'm sure we can work something out. :)

Hit me up if you ever land in Sac. I got the 226 and 228.

Just picked up my brand new 226 Equinox yesterday and shot 150+ rds. at HB Firingline last night...loved it! It's in 40 though.

FYI, HB Firingline has a 226 in 9mm and a 229 in 40.

I have a W German P226 in 9mm with night sights on consignment at Entreprise Arms in Irwindale. I'll ping you next time I go to the range for you to try for free (you provide ammo).

I normally go to Burro Canyon or Insight (Artisia) though.

Are you still looking to shoot a P229?

I got a P229R DAK and a P228.

Thanks guys. Zeke003 let me try out his 226 & 229 a few weeks back. I'm picking up my new to me Zurich P228 on Saturday from the 10 day jail. Even though I never fired a P228, I took a small chance and bought a police trade in. I'll put up a picture after it gets cleaned up.

no surprises with the P228; a great gun and yours is a piece of sig history; well done....

I purchased a sig P228 police trade in too, and It was one of the best decisions Ive ever made. It is extremely accurate and I have no regrets. The only thing I need to do now is find a good gunsmith to replace the night sights; their dead as a door nail. Can anyone recommend one in O.C.?

Firing line northridge has a 226. Maybe a 228/9
the 228 and 229 are the same except for caliber

but I wouldn't use range guns for comparison. They're soooooo beat they don't give fair perspective
