Anybody have a pic of one installed? ordered one up cheap, then realized it was a new design around the base rim.... shaved off edges into what forms kind of an x. Just wondering how it looks installed? I've seen the originals. I tried searching and came up empty

It is designed and looks awesome, riflegear has them in stock.

The oval that touches the lower only has the X tabs on it, and you can place an o-ring under so not to mar your lower's finish. Some intelligent design work there.

I PRC make sure the inner screw is all the way down.

Hmm ok I seen this, that's why i was concerned. Just seems like it could look a little funky on the lower surface

i just installed one the other day... obviously function is identical to the Gen 1 and 2, however, I prefer the look of the Gen 2. Why the 'X'?

I need to get some new pics up. As described to me the change was to allow the Raddlock to work on a wider range of lowers - including many billet lowers in which the older design didn't quite fit.

I just installed one yesterday, can snap a pic when I get home tonight. For my install the o ring was definitely necessary to keep the button from wiggling when fully locked down.

Just from apparent looks, I like the previous version's looks better too

Riflegear.com, Metaldogtactical.com one of them has free shipping and pays your tax for you on CA compliance parts though... maybe the other will match it since they are such a great dealer...? :hurray:

This is great!!! I have a Gen 3 POF lower and the original Raddlock design will not fit because of how close the top of the mag button sits the ambi bolt release. I can tell already by looking at the picture posted on this site that it will fit without an issue. Great redesign!!!!!! I will be placing an order shortly.

Ok in your opinion does the gen x look better than the BB? I don't care for the overall look or design of the bullet button, but the prince 50 is a PITA to use legally.

Unless a dealer has some old stock they are all Gen X now. I know we don't have any of the older style anymore, at least not in black.

I'm about to order some. Do they come with the O-rings or should I bring one to my local hardware store to pick some up?

They come with two. Almost everyone needs one.

The 2nd is if it doesn't seat with 1 or for future breakage (can't see that happening).
