Hey Guys,

Just wondering how far your AR ejects spent cartridges? I was at the range today, and was raining cartriges down 3 lanes over and I felt bad... Guy had a kid with him and i kept beaning the kid with hot empties :/

Mine sends the brass as far as yours does.

Being beaned with hot brass builds coordination.....LOL!

If you really want to annoy people at the range, shoot a Mini-14 in a stall other than the farthest to the right. Mine spits 'em out to about 20-30 feet!!!

Mine only chucked them 4 or 5 feet when I first had it. I added a D-Fender and a little bit stiffer ejector spring and now it throws them about 8-10 feet. When I shoot with my club at Sac Valley I put on a shell catcher. I remember my girlfriend was watching me shoot one time and one went down her shirt. My bad!

LOL!

If you really, really want to be a jerk, shoot an HK91 clone from the left stalls so you can shower everybody on your right. HK brass is thrashed so bad I can only imagine how hard it'll hit someone.

4:00 and about 6-8 feet in perfect little piles! I love my JP LMOS setup. It keeps them in tight little ejection spots.

I guess you'll just need to use a brass catcher, or deflector at the range to spare your neighbors the hot brass.

When I had a CMMG upper receiver, at 1 o' clock in perfect little piles about 6 feet away. After switching just the upper receiver keeping the same barrel and BCG to a Rainier UltraMatch billet upper, it's now 3 o' clock with a wider dispersion pattern about 4 feet away.

My AR shoots the casings about 10 ft. around 3-4 o'clock. I definitely feel bad for the people to my right! If I go to a range with friends I try to be the furthest right so I can rain on them instead of some random people

My AR tosses them a few feet but my M1 Garand launches them. It makes locating the brass pretty hard. They always seem to land a few lanes over and some people don't like it.

Mine is between 4 and 5 o'clock. I don't know where the brass first hits the ground, but the brass ends up about 10 feet away?

My SKS on the other hand is a flinger. It could go anywhere so nobody's safe shooting within 12 feet of me!

Last time I was at Angeles, CGN member Hans Gruber was sitting at 3 o'clock, two benches down, and apparently my first 10 rounds hit him very consistently :D
