I purchased a long gun from a certain retailer that sells guns as well. I wont say any names just that its BIG ,.. and I am currently waiting the 10 days, well my question is can I cancel the process and get my money back before I pick up the gun?

You may have to pay a restocking fee. 20% seems to be the norm.

If you paid with credit card, then call your credit card to cancel...pass off the restocking fee.

I did. Full refund minus the $25 fee to do a back up check.

Careful with the advice people. There are plenty of shops out there that have a cancellation fee whether the firearm has left the store or not. This is to prevent buyers remorse usually.
If its a long gun and you changed your mind, the should could op to let you choose a different rifle instead and you may not suffer any extra fees.

Why don't you just call the store you bought it from and ask them what their return policy is?

Ditto.
Cinco Grande' may not have a restocking fee, but Turner's does.
You lose the $25 DROS, $5 dealer fee, and I'm not sure what the percentage was, but on my RIA Tactical ($550), it was $221 and my wife's Ruger LCR with C/T grips ($650) was $336.

Triple A has a $150.00 fee if you change your mind, or fail to pass the background check once the DROS process is started.

Is it that you want a different firearm or you just want to spend your money on something besides firearms? either way it would be wise to call them and ask for their policy...
