Hey jaustin,

I have an unconverted Saiga rifle chambered in 7.62x39. I bought it on January 13th of this year and took delivery of it on January 23rd. The factory test documents show that the rifle was tested and left the factory on January 29th of 2009. The rifle does have a dimpled receiver.

Since the day I have taken delivery, I have put about 200 rounds through the gun. After each outing, I thoroughly cleaned the gun using Hoppes 9 solvent and oiled all the necessary parts. (Using Hoppes 9 gun oil) The gun is basically brand new!

The ammo I put through the gun include Brown Bear FMJ's, Federal American Eagle FMJ's, and Fiocchi FMJ's. The gun shot every round without a hitch and I was easily able to hit the metal targets 100yards out at the Angeles Ranges using the iron sights.

The gun will include all documentation, all parts that originally came with the rifle such as the cleaning kit and cleaning rod, as well as some extra ammo. I have 20 rounds of Wolf Military Classic HP's that I have yet to shoot. I also have a picatinny side mount rail that I ordered that has never been mounted that I can throw in with the gun.

I live in the Thousand Oaks area but I am in Los Angeles during the week.

Let me know if you are interested! I will send pictures to you upon request. Thanks!

Still very interested in a 5.45 for the right price folks, used is ok with me, as long as the barrel is in good shape.

I'm looking to convert and beat the crap out of these guns so I don't particularly care if it has some scratches and scuffs in it, its an ak anyhow.
