I am looking to buy:

1.WWII M1 Garand and Carbine. I want to be able to shoot them, so in decent condition.

2. A .22lr semi auto rifle (if Ruger, only used and before the plastic and blue paint started). This is to be a range rifle only and I have no intent, other than a scope, to modify it. I also intend to teach my grandkids how to shoot. I'm looking at $225 and less price point new or used. Any good brand is fine as long as parts are available if needed down the road.

3. SA Professional 1911 or S&W PC 1911 (#170243) with the Black Melonite. Both 1911s to be 5".

I saw some Garands and Carbines in FS forum, but I want a piece of history, so WWII ones are what I'm looking for and not some collectible that will cost $1100 +.

Thanks.

PEZHEAD, thank you for the info. Unfortunately, all 3 of the Marlins were sold and I couldn't find that particular S&W. I will have to check that site every so often.
