hey guys i got i ruger old army .44 cal blackpowder pistol for sale.it has a 7 and a half inch barrel.i just bought it on calguns and took it to the range 3 times,it fired dead on at 25 yards W/ 30 grains of fffg powder and .457 bullets and #10 caps. clean gun only one small scratch on barrel.i cleaned it well and cleaned the nipples well after ever time i shot it. i wish i could keep it but i have 2 other .44 cal pistols.and as you bp shooters know it takes alot of maintenance cleaning these guns when using them...but its worth its a BLAST shooting them and i love them!!! i just want what i paid for it

You may want to research the black powder exemption for FFL transfer on this model. I was looking at one a while back and was told because this is not a "Reproduction" model, not an exact copy of the Colt Army, that it was not exempt and indeed had to go through an FFL. I called BS on the guy at the shop and did a little research at the time and found out that it probably did have to go through an FFL transfer. I don't have any exact links for this but do a quick Google search and you might find something. Not trying to stir up anything. Just want to keep everyone from being in any hot water for something as quirky as this. HTH c good
