I Hate to sell but my wife has been laid off due to the doors closing on a used to be very successful construction company & bills are getting the best of us, so I am offering up for sale a Beauty! I know this gun isn't for everyone but to those who can appreciate a commemorative this is for you. The finish is a Deep, deep Blueing, the pics don't do it justice.

A Limited Edition World War II commemorative issued by the American Historical Foundation. Limited to only 2500 issued with the #1 in the NRA Arms Museum. This one is #WW525/2500. This was made by the Auto-Ordanance / Thompson Corporation with Hand finish Deluxe Walnut Stocks, Deeply Etched Gold-Gilt infilled commemorative inscriptions and a 24-Karat Gold plating. This is a Fully Functional weapon and is of course unfired and in pristine condition.
This comes with the presitation case and certificate of Auth. & all paperwork. There is no key but the case is unlocked.
There were white gloves for handling purposes but are missing. According to the Gun Book these rarley come up for sale on the 2nd hand market people that buy them usually keep them to hand down to family. At least thats what the book says so take it for what its worth. The original Price of this gun was $2145. I will make a sacrafice for somebody that is interested and the first $1750 get's it. First one with a "I'll take it" followed by a PM gets it.

need to pay bills PRICE DROPPED TO (LOWERED) REALLY NEED TO SELL COME AND GET IT, NEED TO PAY BILLS $1275

Shouldn't it be the type and kind from the era? I thought that era had the flat main spring housing.

Arched main spring housing is correct for that era, an A1 pistol. Oh, and a bump too!

Just wanted to say way to go... making the right choice.... Stuff is just stuff... While not always exactly replaceable neither are those we love.

Best to you in your sale. Nice pistol... and a prayer for a quick job replacement...

Is this not selling because it wasn't made by Colt?
I'm surprised this is still here.
