I'm EVENTUALLY going to need a safe that will hold a fully assembled ar50 plus a few other toys. It is currently in a protected modified cabinet, that hopefully will be going away eventually. My AMSEC is full, and I need another decent safe of some sort. It will be in the bedroom, so if it's super ugly it's not gonna work.

Your typical safe is too short for these evil assault cannons of teh rage and boom. I would like this safe to be able to fit through a standard door, and not weigh more then say 600 pounds or so. Any options out there?

thanks

Don't know where you're at or your price range, but give Liberty Safes a look. I believe you can google them online and see their dimensions. I have been to the one in West Sacramento and they have a wide selection. They have a couple where you can walk into them.

You might want to check Costo on line. Their prices are hard to beat.http://www.costco.com/Common/Category.aspx?cat=29105&eCat=BC|114|29105&whse=BC&topnav=

Liberty makes them taller than usual - mine is 72". You pay a bit of a premium for it, but I like the extra space.
