PPT at Wild Sports in Orangevale or at River City Gun Exchange on Fruitridge in South Sac...the [SOLD] will cover the $35 transfer fee. Give me [SOLD] and I will give $35 to "the man/big brother" for the transfer fee What you get will be the Yugo SKS M59 rifle, a ton of stripper clips, "some" ammo....60 rounds or so (non corrosive Tiger/Wolf steel case)...I have a WASR-10 I have to feed him some ammo...haha

Up for sale here is a Yugo SKS M59...It's NOT the M59/66 with the grenade launcher and stuff. I fired a few rounds of noncorrosive ammo through this thing for a function check but the last owner (a CGer) I bought it from only fired about 40-60 rounds through it. I'm selling it so I can fund my AR build. It works like a champ. Stored in climate controlled environment away from direct sunlight..(my closet in my room haha) Here are the pictures. It is a Yugo Model 59.As you can see it is very nice looking. It has been refinished in Gun-Kote and the stock has been lightly sanded and finished with BLO. PM me for any more info

As for the gun lock, you can buy one from Big 5 for the PPT, then return it after you pick it up...just my 2 cents what i often do...

The M59 is practically a carbon copy of the Russian SKS and, , was made at Red Banner from 1960-67. The 59/66 series was manufactured at Red Banner from 1967-70. Many M59s were converted to the 59/66 configuration during that time. Most of the 59s and 59/66s had beechwood stocks. Some Yugoslav 59s and 59/66s with teakwood stocks were made for export to Africa.

Very nice m59. Personally I would hang on to it. Everybody and their mother has a VASR

Should I put up my WASR for sale instead? haha

I shot both so far, can't really tell the accuracy, it's very negligible difference between the WASR and SKS....(its the shooter, not the gun)... again i'm just selling this stuff to free up some funds so i can have a tacticool AR, I dont want to modify these historical weapons. The WASR was cool for a while "oohh look i have an AK, im cool"

I treat them pretty well, no abuse from me. I always give a thorough disassembly and clean with Hoppes/breakfree/Rem Oil after shooting even if noncorrosive ammo..

btw, the SKS smells heavily of hoppes
