T&A Armory

Dear Calgunners,

Today we received a call from our friends at Riflegear. It appears as if someone, probably one of our customers, is posting negative comments about Riflegear on the Calgun forums in a misguided attempt at directing traffic to our store.

Riflegear is a top-notch business. Before we had our own store, my partners and I all purchased various items from Riflegear. In fact, I still purchase some things there that they carry that we do not. Riflegear is a good store run by good people, and I have NOTHING negative to say about them. They have done a lot for this industry, and they have always been helpful and friendly.

Our relationship with Riflegear has always been friendly, and we want to keep it that way. They have sent business our way, and we have sent business there way.

To anyone that was offended by whatever this person or these persons posted on Calguns or anywhere else, please accept our sincerest apologies. We have neither authorized nor encouraged anyone to post negative comments about any of our competitors on our behalf. If we find out who is doing this, we will do our best to put a stop to it.

Finally, to make it clear, the only people posting on T&A Armory's behalf are myself, Arthur, or Johnny. If anyone sees posts from other members that appear as if they are speaking on behalf of T&A Armory, please let us know.

Thank you,
Todd

Todd,

I just wanted to thank for you this post. Definitely the post in question was not "that bad" compared to some other calguns dustups we have been involved in before, I still appreciate the post - it shows you are a class act.

Regards,
David

All of the people at Riflegear are FKN awesome!! Always helpful and polite. And T&A Armory, I have never dealt with you, but you guys get two BIG THUMBS UP from me, just for making this post. We need more people/businesses working together when it comes to the 2nd amendment especially here in California. Dont we have a hard enough time arguing our rights to politicians much less causing hate and discontent amongst each other???

Good job guys:cheers2:

I bought my matched billet Mega upper/lower and Sabre Defense barrel from T&A to build my first AR. Great guys, great prices. They even directed me to RifleGear for some parts they didn't have on hand. That's putting the customer first. And when I went to RifleGear for those parts, the guys there were top notch too. These shops exhibit the traits that all shops should. Nothing but good things to say!

I live in Pasadena and work in the IE but I am always willing to deal with the crazy traffic to make it down to RifleGear. But after reading about T&A, I will make it a point to check out their store as well when I am in the area.

After seeing what a class act T&A is I'm going to have to drop by and see them too :) Keep up the great work everyone that is fighting for our rights, and everyone that keeps us united!

Mixed here, Purchased tons of stuff from Riflegear before, however last time I was there, had some work done on my upper. Had my Omega 12.0 FSP installed with an ARMs Flip up sight. When I went to go pick it up (side note, they never called to tell me it was done even though they said they would, I called a week later having only then being informed that the work was done for a few days already) , I noticed inside my DD Rail box there was nothing, I begin to ask "Where is my old FSB?" Lets just say I left there w/o my old FSB especially with a pretty unsatisfactory answer they were giving me. Already pissed but glad to have my upper, later I noticed my Old Delta Ring and nut isn't there as well. So not a sour taste, because my upper did look great, but at the same time, wasn't too thrilled to know I'm not getting back my own parts. Is it worth making a stink over a few small parts?? Sure I could have been more clear I wanted to keep my old parts, lesson learned. Will they get my business back? Only time will tell.

shark92651
02-16-2010, 5:08 PM
Floorance, what was the answer you received about your old FSB? Anybody that want's those parts can have them so I am wondering what answer you got that caused you to leave without them. It's probably just a misunderstanding with new staff or something. Most people don't want the old parts back but anyone that asks for them can have them. Come by anytime and we will give you a delta ring assy and standard FSB.

ive done biz with both of them, hell ive even done business with both of them on the same day. both are good guys, although i have to say T&A is ahead of them in the fact that you can walk around with a rifle in front of an anti politician, then go into cafe lu and get some T&A with your Coffee

First off, my wife is pretty annoyed with my new found hobby and doesn't want anthing to do with it. I took her with me on a trip to Riflegear one evening and she wasn't too happy about it, but after playing with the two guard dogs and conversing with staff, it changed her or something. It was almost time to close and we weren't being rushed and the sales person answered about 100 questions that she had(what's that, what does that do, is that legal...). Now she doesn't mind visiting the store, a week later she even went to the range with me, it's crazy. Besides the great service their prices and inventory are A+, Thanks Riflegear!

I call shenanigans. No links to these offenses, just a new guy typing in all caps. There wasn't anyone doing what T&A said. It is just a ploy by Riflegear to increase their exposure in a set up incident.

I am jealous! :o

I get guys all the time that ask about my $300 shipping floor and I send them to www.riflegear.com .

Honestly though, of all the local shops that are similar, OC Armory, Riflegear, and T&A, who has the highest and who has the lowest prices?

I have yet to go to Cafe Lu but plan on correcting that soon.
