the best way is to move. CC issues very few permits. I think they have under 200 in the whole county.

You can write up your GC. Share it will BillJack or Glock22 and they will give you feedback. Then go through the process. You WILL be denied. If you still want to pursue it you can hire Team Billy Jack or an attorney directly and they will pursue the appeal.

There is almost zero chance of getting a permit by simple application.

Welcome to the forum, sorry your first post was such a negative sounding dose of reality. There is some hope on the horizon coming from a Case in D.C. (Palmer) and a case here in CA (Sykes) but the fruits of that are probably a year or more out.

Sigh...

You don't, unless you are special.

In all seriousness, welcome here. Stick around, and do a search, and use keywords like "Nordyke", "McDonald", "Sykes", "shall issue", "may issue", and go from there. It's all quite interesting reading, and I'm still learning from it.

contact member "gotgunz", he said he has a friend who has a CCW permit from CCCounty and not politically connected, maybe he can shed some light on how to write the GC.

Good luck.

apparently not as hard as we have been told:

I know of at least 2 people that have ccw's issued through Coco county and they are not judges or "connected" people.
I grew up in Solano County and had a ccw there for years (although issued by FFPD, not the sheriff), again they are not easy to acquire but it is not impossible.

The easiest way to get a CCW in California is to be a liberal hollywood actor.
