It amazes me that he has no idea how SCARY what he just said in that clip is!

His suggestion that my manner of speaking is somehow in line with his on-air portrayal is rude, offensive, and provides insight to his prejudices. I was born in the Philippines, lived in the U.S. since age 1 and have a college education. I do not speak in the manner that he depicts(spitting included)

He's such a naive idiot . Does he actually think the purpose of the chip is to track down stolen guns ? That the Gov has people's best interest at heart .

Don't worry, I went back in time and bankrupted Air America. Now they don't broadcast at all.

"On January 21, 2010, Air America Radio ceased live programming citing a difficulty with the current economic environment, and announced that it would file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection and liquidate itself."

I'm a tobacco spitting mush-mouth redneck gun oner. That is exactly the way I speak.

In fact, everyone else I know who owns a gun and is concerned about what Obama might do to our 2A rights, also speaks that way. And we all spit in between our sentences.

If Rush Limbaugh did a portrayal of a gun-toting homeboy using an Ebonics dialect, I wonder if that would be politically correct.

A tracking device? Yeah. Good idea. Nobody would ever be able to find that and de-activate it.

This guy is a moron.

He was on "air America", what do you expect? It is the mirror image of the likes of rush and the other guy, beck. ALL of the extreme far left and right are wackos. A good reason why we NEED a third party.

From Wiki:

Military career

Williams enlisted in the United States Marine Corps (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Marine_Corps) in 1974 and completed his recruit training (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recruit_training) at MCRD Parris Island, South Carolina (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MCRD_Parris_Island). While training at Twentynine Palms (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marine_Corps_Air_Ground_Combat_Center_Twentynine_P alms), California, he was selected for training at the Naval Academy Preparatory School (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naval_Academy_Preparatory_School). A year later, he was accepted into the United States Naval Academy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Naval_Academy) in Annapolis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annapolis), Maryland.[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montel_Williams#cite_note-Military.com-1) In 1980, he graduated with a degree in international security affairs. Williams was the first African–American enlistee to graduate from both the United States Navy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Navy)'s Academy Prep School and Annapolis.[3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montel_Williams#cite_note-2) Upon graduation, Williams was commissioned as an ensign (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ensign_%28rank%29) in the Navy.
Williams became a cryptology officer and served aboard USS Sampson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Sampson_%28DDG-10%29) during the U.S. invasion of Grenada (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invasion_of_Grenada). His awards include the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armed_Forces_Expeditionary_Medal), two Navy Expeditionary Medals (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navy_Expeditionary_Medal), two Humanitarian Service Medals (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humanitarian_Service_Medal), a Navy Achievement Medal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navy_Achievement_Medal), two Navy Commendation Medals (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commendation_Medal) and two Meritorious Service Medals (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meritorious_Service_Medal_%28United_States%29). After 12 years of military service he departed as a Lieutenant Commander.[4 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montel_Williams#cite_note-3)

I do remember the dust-up over this; it was impressive that he took a stand when no one else did (again, wiki):

On January 30, 2008, Variety (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion) reported that CBS TV Distribution terminated The Montel Williams Show when key Fox-owned stations chose not to renew it for the 2008-09 season.[5] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montel_Williams#cite_note-4) It has been alleged that this resulted in part from an appearance on the show Fox & Friends (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fox_%26_Friends) in which Williams criticized the media's lack of coverage on the Iraq War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_War), and took the hosts to task for their excessive coverage (along with the media in general) of the death of actor Heath Ledger (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heath_Ledger), contrasted with the sparse coverage of U.S. soldiers dying in Iraq[citation needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)]. Some have noted that one of the segment's hosts told viewers that Williams would return for further conversation after a commercial break, but that Williams was no longer on the set when the commercials ended. On May 16, 2008 the last episode of The Montel Williams Show aired.[6 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montel_Williams#cite_note-5)

"You want an AK? Buy it... I just wanna know where it is"

OH REALLY???? This is why liberal nonsense makes me want to vomit. What arrogance to actually think he or anybody else has the right to track me or track my guns! Go to hell already, montell, and air america too.

I just played this video to my wife who is EXTREMELY reluctant to even have guns in the house.... what did she say?

"That's a terrible invasion of privacy.... that guy said he knows the constitution..... did he actually read it?!?!"

I knew there was a reason why I love her so much!! LOL!

Certainly not a well thought out statement at all.

i'll trade all restrictive arms laws for a chip.

The ability to own one particular kind of gun is nowhere near worth giving up my privacy.

AK-47 with a chip = Fun

Lost Privacy = Lost Liberty

I'll take liberty over fun any day of the week. Our forefathers fought for liberty, it wasn't fun, but they did it. If the opposition would have been able to turn on a satellite and know where they were before each strike... the war would have ended a lot faster with a far different outcome for you and me my friend.

Let's not forget, our 2A rights are here to stand as the citizens ability to defend not just themselves, but liberty also. If our government ever turned tyrannical, it would be our constitutional duty to defend liberty. We would not be able to do that if that same tyrannical government just had to flip a switch to see where we all were at any given moment.

Actually, that wouldn't be too bad. If by restrictive you mean EVERY law. Select fire and suppressed? That'd be a tough one to turn down.

Q: What happened to your chip, citizen?
A: Yikes, did it break while I was cleaning my shotgun?

I chose to comment on it from the tech perspective, rather than the gun rights perspective. Then I pointed out that any tech-savvy guy could make things really easy for criminals who want to find guns to steal... ;)

Note that he suggested "military guns go one way", and the rest all get chipped. I bet he meant LE guns wouldn't be chipped either.

It'd be AWESOME for UOC purposes though, to know when you're about to get 12031'ed. Who's going to write the first iPhone app to automatically start the voice recorder if you come within range of an LE gun... ? :)
