Use font like the rest of us. And maybe ask a mod to move this thread to a more traveled area of the forum.

Welcome.

Welcome. I advise you to check out the galleries in the Centerfire rifles section to figure out what you like. Keep in mind what kind of shooting you want to do, then you will know what direction you want to go with for the rifle.

AND TAKE OFF THE CAPS!!!!!!!!!!! STOP YELLING AT US. Read read read, and when you think you know it all re-read again. Post questions as necessary, but try out a couple at the range. I'm sure just about anywhere you go, you can find an ar out there at a range that a guy or gal would let you try out.

Welcome Rudy.

Travel to gun ranges much? If so, most gun folk are good people. Strike up a conversation about ARs with someone shooting one. 9 outta 10 times they'll offer you a test run...I know I always do.

Enjoy the forum, and welcome again. You can click through the links in my sig line at the very bottom...it will answer some of your questions.

Sorry about the font guys and or galls (why cant we use that ?) anyways thanks for the replies and some of the tips...because the normal font is the easiest to read. Using large fonts with BOLD is harder to read. Also, typing in ALL CAPS is hard to read for many people, and it is considered SHOUTING on the internet. Don't do it unless you are trying to get a specific point across and you need to SHOUT. If you are a poor typist and can't be bothered to properly capitalize the first word of a sentence, just leave the cap-locks off and type in lower-case for everything. Nobody will yell at you for that, but if you type in all caps, you will hear about it.

welcome Rudy, use whatever damn font you wantYes, he can use any font he wishes, but if he were to continue to do that after being informed that it wasn't polite, some/many people would refuse to even read his posts, some will even put him on ignore. So, who would lose out at that point, anybody that could have helped Rudy, but didnt/wouln't read the postp, or Rudy, who might miss out on helpful reply to his post since he was placed on ignore?

With all that aside, welcome Rudy.

That's what I do.
I don't have time for people that can't follow basic netiquette rules.

Hi Rudy. Instead of copying the above post, try that nifty little Quote button at the lower right side of the post you want to address. It puts it all in place, like the above quote. :D

netiquette.....I like that

You must be new to computers.
That's a computer network term from the 80's.

Netiquette began before the 1991 start of the World Wide Web. Text-based email, Telnet, Usenet, Gopher, Wais, and FTP from educational and research bodies dominated Internet traffic. At that time, it was considered somewhat indecent to make commercial public postings, and the limitations of insecure, text-only communications demanded that the community have a common set of rules. The term "netiquette" has been in use since at least 1983[5], as evidenced by posts of the satirical "Dear Emily" Postnews column.[6]
