View Full Version : Stevens 200 scope bases??

I just bought a Stevens 200 yesterday in 22-250 for coyotes. I was looking around for scope bases and frankly, haven't got a clue which ones would work and I don't want to buy something that won't work and have to ship it back.
So, does anyone know what scope base would work on a Stevens 200?
BTW: I LOVE this site!!
savage 110 for long action. 10 for short action.
just be sure it's for the pre-accutrigger.

^ What he said. The 200 is Savage's entry level rifle. It is identical to the last Savage 10 or 110 model they made before adding the accutrigger. Any aftermarket goodied that fit the 10 or 110 should fit the shotr ot long action Model 200s. I am assuming that the .22-250 is a short action. Go hit Midwayusa.com and look under Savage in the scopemount/rings section. And realize that while the Stevens is considered to be an "entry" level rifle, it will last you just as long as a regular Savage.

have a stevens 200 in .223, great rifle.
plenty accurate for me, also got mine for coyotes.
think i got the scope mounts from cabelas for the model 10 like everyone has said
His bases sit higher than others, so take that into consideration when getting rings.
