What are you guys running M1a's in sage stocks using for mag locks? Anyone have anything made? I will be running it with a scope or else I could feed with strippers but it will be right above the action. Looking for something that isn't to hard to change mags with and I don't feel like chopping the mag release off.
google search (http://www.google.com/custom?hl=en&client=google-coop-np&cof=FORID:13%3BAH:left%3BS:http://www.calguns.net/%3BCX:Calguns%2520Custom%2520Search%3BL:http://www.calguns.net/images/newcalguns.jpg%3BLH:100%3BLP:1%3BVLC:%23551a8b%3BD IV:%23cccccc%3B&cx=018149931542195181678:pzxbzjzh1zk&adkw=AELymgUNLstZgya7eQWafHhCb7A5r6TvyFLJD7GSi4-Ldx7sYhVWey0Fr3W_kqccivurvG3a5vLmM2XYZdHtmadmQzXdU sO7WSicurFqc_jShh6suyCmr88&boostcse=0&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=m1a+magazine+lock&start=0&sa=N)

From what I understand a mag release is cheap so lots of guys are simply cutting off the mag release and if they go back they just replace it with a 10$ piece. I bet a mag lock is gonna cost more than that method

Is installing a new mag release difficult? I just like the simplicity of unscrewing a mag lock or something when I head out of state...
ahh not really but you can always carry an extra trigger assembly group around with you.
