I am thinking about getting an AR 15 in 22. Maybe a Colt, any ideas or suggestions?
Looking mainly for reliability and quality.
Thanks in advance.

I would get one that takes the Black Dog Mags.
Get a Spikes 22LR stamped lower and one of their uppers. You can then use the lower with a 223 upper.

you might want to try to get input from the rimfire forum as well, theres a lot of discussion about tactical .22's in there.

I would blow your $700 budget and get a Spikes ST-22. Complete rifle starts at $850.

What about the Colt M4 .22? There is one close by in a gun shop.

Yep!! Go with the dedicated Spikes not a "fake" .22 AR. It's worth every penny!:thumbsup:
