Up for sale is a very good (VG) quality, original - not photocopied - military issue (Department of the Army Training Circular), October 1969 "Sniper Training and Employment" manual. Originally mailed from the U.S. Army Publication center in Baltimore Maryland.

This is reported to be the best executed military manual around, the information is extensive but focused on the ARMY's equipment and tactics, and the graphics are much better than the other milspec manuals around.

Has all pages, a few small water stains on cover, 196 black and white pages, 170 illus. and charts, covers everything from equipment to marksmanship, night operatoins to map reading, and field techniques to training for the Army sniper.

Easy to find the 1989 & 1994 versions, and the photocopied versions, but not this October 1969 original version in as good a shape as this one is.

Great for the collector.

$50 Gunpal shipped to you USPS, sold as is.

may not think these have much value, but a 1968 model like this one recently sold on Gunbroker for $54 shipped...

well, might be willing to consider OBO's (by PM) - I would think some collector might like to have a little piece of military history. sometimes it is just timing on these things
