Just Interested...Has Anybody Contacted Governor Schwarzenegger Regarding The New Gun Laws?

If So, What Was The Response?

Schwarzenegger Signs Ammo-Regulation Bill

Here’s one more reason NOT to live in California.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Governor Schwarzenegger today signed the three-time vetoed California Assembly Bill 962 (AB962) which will require all people buying ammunition in California to be be thumbprinted and dealers to keep records of all sales.

People buying ammunition in California will soon have to be thumbprinted and dealers will have to keep records of sales, under legislation that Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed into law.

After vetoing similar bills three times since 2004, Schwarzenegger signed AB962 by Assemblyman Kevin de León, D-Los Angeles, on Sunday, saying he now believes it will promote public safety.

The measure is California’s first statewide regulation of ammunition sales.

Please contact Governor Schwarzenegger TODAY and respectfully voice your disapproval with his signing of AB962. The Governor can be reached by phone at 916-445-2841 or via fax at 916-558-3160. You can reach Governor Schwarzenegger by E-mail here: http://gov.ca.gov/interact

Some of us prefer boxer shorts y'know. Though honestly I don't feel comfortable unless I'm wearing jeans, because I like the idea of having my belt in case I have to whoop someone's butt with it. Plus you can't wear a stained wife beater without jeans, man! I mean really get a load of this guy.

By the way, I will indeed take everything I read on this site personon. :D

ETA: Oh, and I don't know how much rage I sent old Arnie after the signing. I know I stayed up all night eating cheese and drinking whiskey with you fine gentlemen waiting for the releases to update on his site. I think it was supposed to be there at midnight, and we all waited till 6 o'clock in the morning before it was ever confirmed. Some journalist from up north first broke the news, and that's how we found out--they released the info to the press apparently but never had the decency to update the rest of us.

C'mon, I usually sport boxers and the wifebeater look when I am at home. I guess it was a bad habit I picked up when I used to be stationed in the deep dirty south.
