If you had to keep only one, would it be a Glock 17 or a Glock 26? Putting aside how well you shoot with either one, which would you keep? And the reasons why that would be your choice?

G17, If I wanted a Glock to carry, it'd be a G19.

17 hands down.

Accuracy and mag cap.

Glock 17 easily the 26 just doesn't feel as good in my hands as the full size and compacts.

The only area in which the 17 is inferior to the 26 is in CCW. That said, I'll go with the 26..

i love my G17. but if you are primarily going to CCW, it's a no brainer.

either one is dependable, but i think everyone should have a G17 in their armory.

17 unless you carry then its the 26 - unless you dont mind the size of your carry

As others have already said, for carry it's the 26, the 17 wins in every other category. If you really like 9mm.

If we could carry here I would vote for keeping the 26. Since that is not possible keep the 17. Not a better made gun made than a Glock 17. (under $600.00)

17 cuz I dont think you can do this with a 26:

I also don't like how the 26 feels. Personally I'd sell them both and buy a Sig.

I actually do have a Sig P226, and a SpringfieldXD9...I just don't shoot as well with the Sig. I wish I could just keep them all though!

hmm...interesting. Guess it's the same for me with glocks, can't shoot 'em well. That's the beauty of guns though, when you get something that works, it feels like it was made just for you!

26 if you want higher cap for the range just pop in a 17 mag and your good. but if i only had one gun it would be one i could carry. has to do it all and the 17 just doesnt conceal well

G17. The G26 would just be for deep CCW or ankle carry. I can conceal a G17 just fine too.

It depends; If for CCW then the G26, If for bedside or range work then the G17 (or a G20,21,29,30)
