Last time they were here on the west coast they were already switched over to the M&P threaded barrel (I believe it's .40)
They always put out a quality class, can't go wrong attending any of them.

As a fan of Art of the Tactical Carbine, this is going into my collection IMMEDIATELY. This will probably be the top selling pistol training video ever, possibly the top gun video of any kind, as it is relevant to more people more of the time than almost any other gun related subject.

Damn, trailer was crazy!

I think this could be more informative than the Carbine videos, as it could reach more people, as more people own handguns than rifles.

Gonna have to pick this up on Friday.

That was pretty hot. I'm kinda scared of her, like this Marine girl I dated in "A" school.

That Redheaded chick was smokin' hot!!!!

I was waiting for someone to mention something about that. I thought to myself..."All these pages in a forum full of manly men and nobody says anything about that lady?" :D

But, I will admit, I was mostly watching to see if she handled her weapon properly.

Edit: By the way, what company makes the holsters Costa and Haley are predominantly using? I have seen them before but can't remember the name now.

This one? It's a Raven Concealment Phantom or Phantom LC (Light Compatible).

How helpful/useful do you think a video like this would be for someone that:

a.) Can't afford to go to a professional training course
b.) Doesn't have a range to practice shooting while moving, and all that shooting behind cover stuff.

I mean, would a "blue" gun, living room/backyard, and this video be helpful at all?

Why not? I don't need no stinkin' video, I do it all the time :chris: althoughGF thinks I'm crazy when I try to clear the room upstairs :D

Man I hope this video is more exciting than their carbine video. I fell asleep watching the first carbine video on 3 separate occasions. ZZZZZZZ.

I keep hearing them say:

"Amateurs train until they get it right, professionals train until they get it wrong."

Isn't it supposed to be:

"Amateurs train until they get it right, professionals train until they can't get it wrong."

No, how it's stated is what they mean. If you're training at a level where you are doing everything perfectly, then you're not training hard enough. You want to find your limits, then push beyond them to increase your abilities.

well said you can never really be perfect there is always room to improve

Ahh, I see. I kept getting confused by the statement. Thanks for the insight. It makes perfect sense now.

Good stuff, but there's no substitute for actual professional instruction.

If anybody hasn't yet been to a training course, I highly recommend it.

It doesn't have to be a big dollar investment, you can get those first timer FS certificates for under 200.00 for a four day course.

That and a case of ammo, travel and time will get you on your way.

Exactly - lots of folks that have never been trained never practice malfunction drills, and really wouldn't know what to do in the event they had to clear a weapon under pressure.

I reserved 2 spots today for the Metcalf class in October. I am definitely looking forward to the training!!:D
