Have you received any emails from outside the state wondering why CA only? Or Asking for you to make an exception? haha:D

CA only! :D

Tired of seeing unreasonably restrictions by sellers for no arbitrary reason because they're too damned lazy to see how the law works in regards to firearms sales.

Sucks for them, they can do without my money. I'll go to a store that is CA friendly! ;)

Yes I like it. I got rejected once by a seller for steyr hunting rifle on GB. I was willing to pay more than what it was sold for. These people are retarded. California has bigger buying power than those inbred states.

We need to make a deal with the op so that we can all bid on the thing and put it way over the price it's worth just to mess with all the other non cali. seller  and make the thing sell for about $3000.00 or so...

I've done this in the past on Gunbroker & Gunsamerica especially when the whole no sales to CA trend started. Works even better for really hard to find stuff w attractive prices. The ads weren't nearly as funny as the hate emails I got from out-of-CA well-wishers. :43: :43: :43: :43: :43:

Thanks fellas. I thought it would be good for a few laughs. No hate mail yet. I will post as/if it comes in. I did another one of these in the past for a FAL I was selling & I believe the nice folks @ gunbroker deleted my pictures in that auction. I wouldn't be surprised if this listing gets altered as well.

While I like the idea - it's kind of cruel really. Selling a pistol which is designed to use magazines we can't have (or at least buy) And chances are, if you have .45 hi cap mags for that pistol YOU ALREADY HAVE THAT PISTOL and don't need to buy another one.

Why would anyone want a really really thick pistol grip only to have the same number of rounds as everyone else? The whole point of the ridiculously thick grip is so you can double stack the rounds and get more capacity.

Nice idea, but I think it doesn't make sense to limit sales to CA.
(but I still like the idea anyway!)

It comes with 2 full capacity mag rebuild kits as well that I chose not to list with in the auction. In my mind, it makes perfect sense to limit sales to CA.

don't most 1911 style guns hold 8? So you'd gain 2 rounds right?

If you really want to stir the pot go in the "General Discussions" forum and post "hey, just an FYI on a good deal for CA residents only" then watch the comments fly. They are not shy in GD and there's no 10 reply limit.

Still no difference. Full capacity rebuild mags = invitation to violate the law.
If you have the ability to "rebuild" a hi-cap mag(i.e. already have said hi cap mag) Which only works in that gun = you already have that gun right?

buying a new gun when the mags get old is like buying a new car which the ashtray fills up!

(Still like your style though) and still +1 on the ad.

Before the ban I bought a lot of mags for guns I didn't own at the time.

Thats an awesome auction statement. I encourage everybody else to do the same. What those guys on gunbroker don't understand is that they are CONTRIBUTING to our unfair gun laws. What they also don't understand is that they are also opening the door for such laws to be passed in their own states once the politicians see the effect that they are having on CA buyers. Pretty soon the auctions will include many more states that they will not ship to in addition to CA.

If I hadn't just bought a Draco I would buy this from you just on the principle alone even if I didn't want another .45 - which I do.

As promised, here's the first comment on the listing: "sorry to bother you dont really have a question, just wanted to say thanks for sticken up for us californian's. i to hate those a-holes that for no good reason say "do not ship to california". anyways thanks."

Huh? Plenty of people buy things for stuff they might own down the road once they see that a ban on said item is coming. I bought GI mags before owning an AR and a plethora of popular style handgun magazines before owning any of them because I knew I could make my money back selling them later on should I not buy the gun to go with them.

To the OP. Dude you rock. I wish i could do that with my guns. I had a few people intrested in my yugo 59 when i was selling it all out of state but decided to hang on to it. Please post any messages you get. they shoudl be a hoot.

.

Says who. I have a bunch of beretta mags and I havent owned a beretta since 1995-1996. Sold the gun but never sold the mags. i also got a shoebox full of 1911 mags from a garage sale in the 90s. For a buck a pop I couldnt go wrong. i never even owned a 1911.
