Just wondering if there were end-dates for the "High Cap" and "Assult Rifle" laws in California. A date where they would need to be renewed.

Or are they here forever?

The political class hacks were hoping their oppressive laws would expire when the US is no longer. They probably never thought they would see the day when the Second Amendment is up for incorporation.

Quick question about that. We're all counting on McDonald to extend to us the same protections granted in Heller, which would set up several laws like dominoes just waiting for a push.

Are there any cases in DC currently going on along the lines of our future plans for CA? What is the status of CCW issuance in DC, for example?

No, the California "large-capacity" and "assault weapon" laws do not have a built in sunset provision.

the thing with waiting on other cases is that there will always be other cases we will be waiting on. it's the never ending gobstopper.

There is no sunset provision. Please Donate to the Calguns Foundation.(link in my sig) We have a nuke or three to drop on these laws.
