My walther TPH's front sight color dot fell off. Instead of re-ordering the entire slide, what colors do you recommend I fill it in with? Planning to go to hobby store to pick up some modeling paint. Go with red (the rear sight has red) or go with different color? I heard green is also good color to contrast with.

White, red, green...those are the most common. What ever color you get make sure it's "flat" and not "gloss".

Personally I prefer green.

I just recently painted the front sight white on my Glock 34, and I really like it so far. It's difficult to find a color that contrasts with all possible backgrounds so pick one that contrasts with what you shoot at most. I was going to do mine in orange, but the steel plates we shoot in our club matches are orange so I figured that wasn't the smartest idea.

I use "white out". Keep a bottle in my range bag.

I agree with green. It's the contrast of red.

I go with bright fluorescent orange. It's easy for me to see. Mark
