Walmart-$26 Wild Sports-$14 Rancho Shootin Center-$20 This is ridiculous! I've never seen basic 9mm be just as expensive as .223 to shoot.

Anybody know a place in sac with $8-10 boxes? I was picking 9mm up for $10 a box just a few short weeks ago.

I remember when Wild Sports had a coupon for 9mm Blazer Brass at $4 a box, if only I knew then what I know now.

Sorry, I know my post doesn't help you.:90:

100 rounds of FMJ for 19-20 bucks is about what you'll pay.

I want to find Tera Patrick covered in fluffer nutter on my bed when I get home, but that just ain't gunna happen mate.

RCGE has Blazer Steel for $10.99 a box, thats about the cheapest you will find in Sac, short of someone selling their stash.

lol....

Sportman's Warehouse in Rocklin had 115g Fiocchi for I think 12.99, but a max of 4 boxes. That is the cheapest I have seen in a store. I have not seen any 9mm in any Walmarts for a year or more.

Good luck.

If you're not opposed to buying online, Cheaper Than Dirt (of all places...) has steel-cased Brown Bear for $8.19. Ammunition To Go has it for $8.99.

A bit of warning is in order for the Brown Bear 9mm. It is both steel-cased and steel-jacketed (not steel-cored; just cut a bullet in half to check). It is the steel-jacketed and steel-cored ammo you'll have trouble with when it comes to shooting ranges. I didn't know this and bought 6 50-round boxes of Brown Bear 9mm, but can't take it to the range. I ended up buying Blazer 124gr. Aluminum-cased Lead-cored for just under $11 a 50-round box (but of course it was on-line and a 1000-round purchase totaling ~$218; would have been the same cost for 115gr. brass-cased Independence).

rmammo.com has 9mm for $169 plus $25 or so for shipping. It usually ships out the same day and they are in Montana ;)

Unless you don't have any ammo-carrying Wally World in your neck of the woods :(

We're selling CCI Blazer ALUMINUM for $10.99 / box. We also have the Speer Lawman brass at $13.99 / box.

Here's the ad we ran on 12-31-09, good until Jan 16, 2010. I just copied/pasted it from another CG thread going on now.

Here's our end of year ad. We usually run an ad in the SacBee 2x a month in Thursday Sports.

http://shopping.sacbee.com/ROP/ads.aspx?advid=1101108

A couple of errors, which we tried to get corrected but couldn't:

Smith & Wesson M&P15 Optics Ready at $889.95. Supposed to be the Delton but oh well, we're going to honor the ad price until the 16th of January anyway. Either of them at $889.95 til then.

The complete lowers starting at $199.95 do have buttstocks. The Vulcans are mostly A2 and the Deltons and S&Ws are collapsible.

The Federal .22LR ammo is not HP but a SOLID. Federal 510 is the stock number.

Fiocchi .45acp is NOT $35.99 (we wish). Correct price is $25.99

Only ammo purchase limit we have is how much you can want to pay for.

Don - i've refered several folks to you for the 226s, do you still have a pretty good number?

also do you have any 228s?

I found some Winchester WB for $7.99 and CCI aluminum for $6.99 from an online vendor that just opened it's cyber doors back in August(2009). They also had AE 45ACP for $13.47/box. I bought $2500 worth. If I hadn't been in the process of getting lending for house at the moment I would have bought as much as they would have sold me.

And the vendor is? ;)

Oh people wiped out their cheap ammo pretty quickly. I think they had a bunch of old stock piled away that they purchased at better times and that's why it was so cheap. I was the 14th online customer so I got in early. Now their prices are average to above average.

They did have some Rem Disintegrator +P 9mm frangible rounds for $15/box that sat there for 2 months being ignored by everybody. I couldn't take it any longer so I bought those all up too. :D

River City also had a 250 box of UMC 9mm for $67. Not $8-10, but a pretty nice deal.

I've never seen 9mm that high at WM. It must have been the JHP stuff.

Sportsmans has Rem UMC for $11.99/box. Not great, but they are doing pretty good these days on keeping it stocked. They also have another brand for $9.99 or $10.99/box, but they are usually out of it.

Otherwise, you will have to wake up early and drive to 10 different Walmarts and probably not find one box of $8.99 Blazer Brass. I find the Dixon WM has BB more often than others. Keep an eye on the Lead Hill and Pleasant Grove stores also (WWB packs).

It's easier just order online!
