What happens when a Californian moves to Tucson AZ...
Typically, the expatriot Californian begins to work hard to transform Arizona into California.

You don't appear to be typical. I think you're going to fit in just fine. Please lecture other ex-Californians (and native Arizonans if required) as needed.

Yeah, except there's a frackin' yin-yang on a holster for a replica 1873 Colt...

:)

The look I was going for was "I'm not a typical right-winger, gun or not..."

Ohh..I see now! It's the holstered gun... Well, I'm trying to ignore it, it's painful to see. Someday...Californians.

You can do that here, must be unloaded and unconcealed. and not within 1000 Feet of a school zone. ect.. but better to have something to load, than nothing at all. I like that gun BTW. for a revolver, open-top cross draw will be how i carry.

Jim,

I would be jealous except we will have shall issue soon. Of course you may wind up with Vermont or Alaska carry which I doubt we can top.

Still, California does have some positive things about it although they seem to be fewer every day.

Oh my god Jim, I had the funniest first thought when I read your title "Look what happened when I moved to Tuscon". I was thinking about the one time I went out to Havasu, and how I drank lots of beer, really for the first time in my life (and the last). And I was thinking about the belly I got after 2 days of that. Then I saw your pictures and thought "oh my god, he got a belly too". I'm so sorry Jim, not to tease you, but it was just so funny - I wasn't even thinking about your gun. But your belly isn't actually that big - it wasn't that, just what I was thinking, and then saw your pictures. I'm sure you're very handsome if you were to show a full picture of yourself!

The "leather jacket" method of concealment will not work in Tucson most of the year. Better get yourself some big baggy Hawaiian shirts and an IWB holster.
And that's a problem in what way?
He can take his jacket off carrying as-is and he's still legal ;)
