That law only applies in 2011 for handgun ammunition.

At this time we are not shipping any ammo until our legal council has a chance to fully review the entire deal and render a decision . We appreicate your inquiry and feedback and hopefully we will be able to ship ammo soon.

Other than the restricted cities, you can still ship handgun ammo until Feb 2011.

10 -4 , we mainly sell rifle ammo at this time and apparently there was also some gray area on the interpretation of what was rifle & hand gun ammo . Has there been a final list stating what they are legally defining as hand gun ammo ?

Typical for California... no list.

Throw a poorly written law out there and expect the DAs to iron out the bugs.

But PPT and importation are not regulated... so even after the 2011 ban goes into effect, I'll still be able to drive to Vegas and load up at Cabelas.

Yes the GRAY areas are written for Their interpretation at the time they are taking you to court or someone is trying to sue.

Any exemptions for someone with an FFL03 and COE? Plenty of C&R eligible pistols that shoot 45 and 9 or the lovely 7.62x25....

The law has an FFL03/COE exemption included.
