Love the G30! It's a really accurate gun! here are a couple of my targets (I'm fairly new, still learning), I'm still trying to get used to aiming with the glock sights. I'm shooting a bit high, I'm pretty sure it's because of my habit with my HKs, I have to put the dot on the target.. so I'm still adjusting :D any tips/advice are greatly appreciated :)

Start @8 yards, 10 rnds headshot, 10 rnds upper block, 10 rnds lower block:

Reload and use moly coated lead bullets.

I'm down to $0.08/round (That's $80/1000)

And YES you can run moly's though the factory glock barrel, just clean it good after shooting.

WHOA!!! that's how much per round, only $0.08?!!!!!!!!!!! oh man, that means I've been getting false info from some *friends*! they told me the cost of reloading per round is more than wallyworld!

so I'm going to start by looking at the reloading threads here.. any other site I should get some info from? thanks!

You "CAN" spend more than wallyworld, but I chose not to and I bought my components long ago when prices were reasonable.

1000 primers - 15
1000 230g - 59
5300g powder - ~12
1000 brass - Free

So my last batch cost me - $86 so ok, $0.086 / round ($86/1000)

If you go by todays prices...

Primers - $35
230g moly - $100
5300g powder - $~17
1000 brass - still free!!

Comes to $152/1000 Still better than wallyworld but that does not account for the reloading equipment.

thanks for the breakdown! even with today's prices, it's still cheap! I'm going to order the Lyman book, and probably get a Dillon 550B in the near future :)
