My wife picked up an M&P Compact .40S&W so I need to get her a holster. I am having a hard time finding them for the Compact, not the full size. Anyone know what holsters are out there for an M&P Compact?

I thought I read someplace it fits in Glock holsters? :helpsmilie:

I'd like a Kydex, something with a retention feature like a Serpa.

I can't help with retention - I personally despise the Serpa. Hitting the release can be a real PIA for someone with small hands.

But good holsters are easy to find. For Kydex OWB my favorite is Comp-Tac, for IWB I like Custom Carry Concepts' Adjustable Cant.,

I have an M&P 9c, but I don't carry. I have read good things about:

Raven Concealment
Crossbreed Supertuck
Comp-Tac

Don't forget a good gun belt to go with it.

We've got good belts, Filson doubles. I like my Serpa I carry my 1911 in, I have large hands, she does not, so I'll let her try mine first. It's all about practice, I am just as fast with my Serpa as I am with a non retention holster now.

I've looked at the Comp-Tac. I just saw such a small selection of holsters out there I thought I was missing some big clue, like you use a Glock XX holster for the M&Pc.
