Hopefully Remington will now be more forthcoming with accessories.

I was excited about this rifle for awhile but the Beretta RX4 is coming up, and it'll (apparently) have a chrome-lined barrel. It's semiauto, takes AR mags and can run with a conventional stock. Supposedly has a low-travel operating action so this could enhance accuracy (providing bbl/chamber is decent).

I was originally thinking of selling my SU-16A and getting a CA model but after seeing the RX-4 I'll hold out for that in spite of the fact that it is somewhat ugly. Maybe it will grow on me.

The Beretta RX4 is a similar approach too based on a shotgun type reciever.

Thatís great news. Competition is always good for the consumer.
