I would like to get in for a couple of non-list receivers too. Are there any FFL's in the Sacto / Bay area looking into this?

use the search function and read on the threads that are active on this topic. Irvington Arm's may be interested (in Fremont)

This might help a little. You would still have to make one trip to Taft, but only one.

Thanks for the replys fellas. Do we each have to secure our own letter? Or is one letter good for that dealer to sell to other buyers?

Thanks

I believe XXXXX only needs 1 letter to kick the thing off. The good news is he has an assault weapons permit and already does business with DSA.

+1 for the newtown folks,

dealt with them on the last minute 50 cal lower last december (2004) and were very helpful...

and them being a AW licensee helps too...

This thing is becomming _THREADZILLA_!!! :( !!!

Could someone get the Admin to make a whole seperate forum dedicated to the .223 Self Loading Rifles? It would make finding individual posts easier and keeping track of replies. Could help streamline everything.

We could have one thread about FFLs, another about group buys, etc... well you get the idea.

Please call them and express your interest in buying a non-listed lower. Ask for XXXXXX. I just faxed him a bunch more stuff tonight. The link to their web site is posted above and has their number.

Given how antsy local FFLs are around sacramento and yolo county I'll give this a shot.

Oh yeah I also thought I'd mention this:

You can stop giving any business to The Gun Room because they've shown all they want to do is please Bushmaster and Vulcan. They just try to offer you existing CA legal rifles at their ridiculously over-priced cost. Not to mention ALL of their stuff is overpriced.

If it wasn't for their indoor gun range and support for RKBA I would never talk to anyone there again.

XXXX has a copy of Artherd's original thread, a copy of the Harrott decision, a copy of Artherd's letter to the DOJ, a copy of Artherd's letter from the DOJ, a copy of 10 percent's CA lower web page, and Elmo's Stag-15 letter from the DOJ. Please call them to express your interest. Their number is XXXXXXXX
