I just sold an AK underfolder stock to someone and didn't realize till I was filling out the shipping label that the guy was in CA.

Is this a problem? Are underfolders illegal in CA? If so is there any legal reason I can ship one to CA (replacement parts etc)?

Thanks

CA's assault weapon law only restricts complete weapons, and there is no constructive possession restriction. It's perfectly OK to ship that stock here, and there are even entirely legal ways to use it here (even on a brand new weapon or build) without running afoul of the assault weapon law. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
