Utah CCW fingerprinting

Anyone know of a good cheap place to get fingerprints for a Utah CCW in the SF Bay Area (San Jose)? Do I need to go to a police or sheriff's office? I heard there may be cheaper place to go?

Try a school supply shop. In my area they do fingerprinting because all ed people have to be fingerprinted. Make sure the prints are perfict or you will get them back in the mail. All of my friends got one card sent back as unclassifyable, expect that to happen. you will get a Utah blue card back in the mail. Don't be discouraged by getting a card back just redo the card and send it back in your permit will come:D

DMV used to do it, at least in Watsonville. I went there to have it done for my first CMP order, back in the early 90's.

No idea if they still do it. Local Sheriff or PD MAY do it. Worth a phone call.
