Hi guys,
does anyone know of a shop in the Bay Area (south bay in particular) that carries 91/30 Mosins? Or, have any of you ordered a Mosin from AIMSurplus or buymilsurp.com before? I'm just wondering what condition they come in. Thanks.

yah, mosins tend to go for right around 100 bucks. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

Yeah, My mosin is my favorite gun. I thought it was a bit usgly when I bought it, but now I wouldn't trade it for anything. Additionaly, the m38 is one of the fiercest, loudest rifles on the line when I go aut shooting. Everyone should have at least two. In fact 2 minutes ago my wife just told me I can go ahead and get one the 91/30s. O happy day.

Looks like Samco may still have the M44 for $50. I have had good luck with AIM as well, but I have not bought any Mosins from them.
classicarms.us has a pretty good rep and it looks like they have some pretty interesting Mosin variations right now.

Thanks for the quick response guys. I picked one up at Big 5 earlier today for $85. The bore looked really good, and the exterior was pretty nice as well. I didn't pay attention to the stamp marks since this will just be a shooter rather than for collectable value anyways. Thanks for the help all. I'll post some pics after the stupid 10-day wait if anyone is interested.
Guns don't kill people—proper application of sight alignment, sight picture and trigger control kills people.
Now THAT'S funny!
