Can you guys direct me to or cite the local ordinances, laws, prohibitions, etc. regarding shipping to the following cities and counties:

LA / OC / SD / SF / SAC

or any others cities/counties not mentioned that prohibit or have laws regarding shipping of powder, primer, projectiles and ammo.

found one through another post regarding the LA area:

Here's an earlier post that lists the sections from the San Francisco City Code...

Different ammo sellers make different decisions about shipping to CA addresses.

The City of Sacramento has an ordinance requiring fingerprints to be recorded to buy ammo. There is nothing said in the ordinance about buying ammo out of state or shipping ammo into the county. Cautious sellers decide there might be a legal gray area and "To Hell with it." and refuse to risk any possible future legal hassles.

Shop around until you find a seller willing to ship to your address.

thanks elegante, that helps out

cal liberal, i'm trying to find the cheapest route possible to get information regarding the local laws so I can ship to californians. Thanks for informing me that sac has a fingerprint ordinance and will research further.

you wouldn't happen to know if they have the same restrictions for powder / primer / bullets?

all i need is a starting point in the counties to figure out who i need to contact locally. all the help is appreciated
