So I've called the DOJ before to ask questions. And, yes I am aware that for a critical issue you don't want to rely on what someone told you on the phone...a letter is the way to go. But sometimes you need a quick answer on something.
In my calling I have noticed some people seem quite knowledgeable and some people seem uniformed.
Do any of you have the names of people one can ask for and feel relatively confident in their answers?

Dude, it's 4:17 in the morning! Interesting to see I'm not the only one browsing the forums so early.
I don't know who to talk to there, but I know not to talk to Dana (a guy named Dana).

Honestly I would not call the CA DOJ for the Weather Report.
Both myself and FFLs I work with have been lied to, intimidated, and outright threatened by DOJ phone personel.

Oh, I think they would do as well as the weatherguessers, and neither can get fired for non-performance.:D
