Good shooting ranges near Carlsbad, CA?

While I'm hoping to be in town for the day after Turkey Day shoot, I may have to travel down to San Diego Co that weekend to house-sit my parents home. If I have to go down there, I still want to be able to get some shooting time in while I'm there. I've lived in the SF Bay Area my whole life so I'm not terribly familiar with the area my parents live in. So my question is: does any one know of any good ranges in Northern San Diego Co that I can take my 5.56 rifle? More specifically, my parent's home is in the hills of Carlsbad, so something closer to the Carlsbad/San Marcos area would be best. Thanks!

Iron Sights is the closest, but is indoor. Pala, Rainbow, and EFG&A are outdoor but farther away. Rainbow I'm certain is "members only". I'm almost certain EFG&A is. That would leave Pala, which could very well be members only. IIWY, I'd call first.

Oh, and Iron Sights does allow rifles in their range, but it's 25 yards. Not much point :)
