I'm looking to buy one of the Varminter Combo packages (in .223) from Turner's ($599) and was wondering who has had experience good or bad with this rifle combo? I am planning on using it mostly for plinking and some varmints, and possibly as a 1st centerfire for my boys.
I currently have a .308 Remington PSS set up for long range and ARs (carbine and prescision[in the works]). IDK maybe I should use the funds to work on/ complete the AR need some help deciding.
Thanks

An AR varmint upper would work great. On the otherhand the Howa packages taht Turners sells are of decent quality. I wouldn't hesitate picking up one of the Howa packages when they come around.
