View Full Version : Just mounted scope, couple of questions

I just mounted a SWFA SS10x42M scope using a Burris PEPR mount. As you can see in the pic below, the front sight post is right in front of the scope. It doesn't appear to obstruct my view at all however. Is this going to cause any problems and is this a typical setup?
I plan to eventually get a free float quad rail with flip up BUIS, so this won't be an issue then, only in the meantime. Does anyone else have a similar setup? I haven't been able to find any pics. I just want to make sure I'm not doing it wrong :D Thanks!

I dont think you'll have any problems....maybe just a little too much magnification!

i think that scope is a bit much for a 16in barrel , i would have said a 3x9 power scope lol. If it aint obstructing your view you should be gtg

What's the eye relief on that scope?

Eye relief is 3.75". I know it's a little overkill, but eventually I'll put it on different rifle.
