View Full Version : How to adjust my SKS for windage.

I could use some help getting my sks to hit the 10 ring. The last several times out I've been shooting pretty decent groups (more like buckshot patterns :rolleyes:) but It consistently shoots 2-3" to the right. Can I drift the front sight over, and if so how?

It's a Russian SKS if that matters at all.

The drum that holds the sight post is what needs to move. There's a tool or a drift pin and hammer, but I recommend the tool.
I have one if you like to borrow it but they're only about 10$

thanks. One quick look at that tool and I can see how it would be much better than trying to use a punch. That's exactly what I needed to know.

I'm thinking that would make a great stocking stuffer :D.

The tool is WAAAAAAAAY easier to use.
